Experience
Minimum 3 years of employment litigation experience on either the plaintiff or defense side.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy for employment litigation cases - Draft pleadings and other legal documents - Take and defend depositions - Argue motions in court - Provide advice and counsel on workplace law issues - Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes - Excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited Law School with strong academic credentials and on Law Review or Moot Court - Admission to practice law in PA and NJ - 3 years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases - Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes - Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial - Excellent oral and written communication skills
